Camillia's

My little Camellia plant finally bloomed this year. A few months back my children were into picking acorns and one afternoon they came running in the house excited that they had found a bunch of acorns...well...when Mike looked in the bucket...they were not acorns..they were the buds on the Camilla plant. It's funny, because only the back is blooming because the kids picked most of the buds from the front.

That is so funny! I'm a little jealous, though. I've always tried to grow camellias, but I just don't have the touch. Wonder if they will grow in a pot on the patio?

I love your camelia...I have two. One has really been blooming (it is a single) the other is full of buds and about ready to bloom.
Reminds me....I need to go to Lowe's to get bug spray for it.
When it blooms (white) it attracts little bugs.
